Milient made it easy to keep projects organized

The solution that InTransit Mobility Engineering chose at the beginning in 2020 was no longer sufficient for the growing company after a few years, and the time reporting function felt too generic. To ease their search for a new solution, they first identified the company's needs. Then, they began looking for systems that could offer user-friendly functionality while also streamlining administrative tasks. A crucial requirement for the new solution was integration with their existing business system, Fortnox, to build upon the components they already had and found effective.  They shortlisted three options, but one stood out more than the others: Milient.

Today, InTransit uses Milient's solution, Time Flow (formerly known as Time & Project). We spoke with Victor Jahren Kutschera, who is the CFO, quality and safety manager, and one of the founders of InTransit, about their choice of system.

“I can't even remember the other two systems we looked at. But neither of them met our functionality requirements as well as Milient did.” says Victor Jahren Kutschera, CFO at InTransit Mobility Engineering.

In the spring of 2024, they began using Milient, and right from the start, the system met the level of user-friendliness they were looking for. Users appreciate the clarity and workflow, especially the consultants who log their time. From registrations to locking and approval, InTransit now saves a significant amount of time.

”It has become easier for those who register time to get an overview, and it's easy for them to do things correctly. Or even better, it's hard to make mistakes.” says Victor.

Reducing the time spent on administrative tasks was a major reason for the switch, and they truly believe their Milient solution fulfils this need. With extensive search capabilities, clear overviews, and excellent records, they now have complete control over their ongoing customer projects. This is crucial as they can have multiple parallel projects for the same client, where billing procedures differ between projects.

After nearly a year with Milient, InTransit remains highly satisfied. They have continued to enhance their processes and discovered new features that further facilitate their work. This has been achieved both by getting to know the system better and through the ongoing development of new and existing features.

"I am impressed that Milient doesn't hold back on features and continuously releases updates," Victor notes.

Victor believes the onboarding process went excellently. They appreciated the well-organized and clear plan that was established and that their contact person at Milient could tailor the process to their needs.

"We are satisfied with the entire startup process. Whenever something came up along the way, our contact, Mikael (onboarding consultant at Milient), was always quick to respond. He was also available during the initial period after we went live, up until the first billing was completed, which felt reassuring," Victor concludes.
