Collective Works gets the resourcing capabilities they need from Milient

Collective Works uses the solution Milient Project Flow (formerly known as Moment).

Collective Works is a value-led architectural practice and a signatory of Architects Declare and RIBA 2030, aiming for Net Zero. The firm collaborates with private clients, charities, organizations, and stakeholders who share these ambitions.

Khuzema Hussain, Partner at Collective Works, explains that he initially chose Milient for its resourcing capabilities. The practice previously used three different software programs—Harvest, Xero, and Teamwork —but found it challenging to manage as it required constantly switching between interfaces.

Khuzema explains, “We were looking for a platform where all information could be accessed from one place, and Milient provided exactly what we were looking for. ”

"Resourcing capability was something we needed due to our size," Khuzema mentions. "Although we are not a large office, managing numerous projects—up to 10 at a time—with an agile team working across different configurations made the resourcing need very high. This was a strong priority for us, and we believe Milient Project Flow is delivering on that front."

Additionally, since using Milient, Collective Works discovered it offered more than just resourcing. The practice’s next efforts are to consistently use all the features that have been tested. Khuzema plans to commit to Milient for creating proposals and offers, which was an added bonus.
